So since my girlfriend is going in for surgery next week, we decided it was a good idea to get out of town this weekend so we could relax for a couple of days. Even though Kamloops wasn’t our first choice, it was the best place to get an affordable suite with a hot tub. I’m writing this from our hotel room right now and if I wasn’t afraid of getting electrocuted, I’d post it from the hot tub. We went for a bit of a drive today (up Westsyde road till just about its end – see the Trip image on Flickr) and the strolled through Riverside park.
