RIP: Asta

So early this week my beloved dog, Asta, was put to sleep. She was nearly 13 years old and the best dog a man could want. She was so much a part of our family, almost human. Towards the end she was less responsive unless it involved food and it turns out she had colon cancer. So sad and almost more sad is the fact that I hadn’t seen her that much during the last few years as I was living away from my parents. But the good thing is that I did get to see her just two days before she left us and I spent some good time with her then. Say Hi to Grandpa, Asta! He’ll be enjoying his walks with you again.
